So whose story you want to hear next at StorytelHER by Anjali Sharma?
Because every story is worth empowering!
Hi there, long time no see :p
Honestly, I planned way too much on my next article and hence it never made it to the internet but this time is something different, something interesting (at least to me), and something which I truly care about - you all, people <3 and your stories!
I am launching back my StorytelHER series, woohooo!!!
What is StorytelHER?
StorytelHER is one of my favorite initiatives where I share the unconventional stories of individuals to empower the world towards possibilities and maximize the impact of humanity by raising consciousness about oneself and about the world. (Fancy English, no? :p)
Simply speaking (or writing xD), StorytelHER is my way of enjoying what I love the most - talking to people and understanding their stories through their daily habits, failures, choices, and lifestyle. I then collate my learnings and share them will the masses in the form of articles or podcasts or product recommendations.
What is my WHY of StorytelHER?
Simon Sinek has explained the importance of Starting with Why in his TED Talk so well that it almost feels illegal to not start anything with WHY.
My WHY of starting StorytelHER holds to one principle - to develop Growth Mindset among individuals and communities!
What is a growth mindset?
A growth mindset simply means that people believe their intelligence and talents can be improved through effort and actions. A growth Mindset is basically developed by understanding that if anything is possible, it is possible for you too!
Why developing a growth mindset is important?
Well, now there are too many questions to answer even for me but in simple words, a growth mindset is a differentiator between extraordinary results and mediocre ones.
It is also one of the strongest predictors of success which I have explained in detail in my previous article below:
A growth mindset is possibly one of the few things that help people to push their limits and function to their maximum potential. This can only happen when people are aware of the possibilities all around the world through education and understanding the stories of people who have been there and done that.
StorytelHER is my attempt to facilitate this process of increasing the consciousness about possibilities through the stories of these amazing individuals and that’s my WHY.
Why I am telling you all this?
Well, Great Question :p
Even “…of the people, by the people, for the people” needs people to function properly so how can I not? I would want your help to connect with these inspiring leaders or people you would want to hear about.
